Acorn Valley is an intimate residential subdivision of 30 homes situated at the boundary of Farmington Hills and Southfield in Oakland County, Michigan. Built in the mid-1980s during a period of significant residential growth in the western suburbs of Detroit, our neighborhood has matured into a well-established community framed by beautiful mature trees and landscaped yards.

HOA Dues: Annual dues help maintain common areas, landscaping, and community events. Contact the Treasurer for current rates and payment options.
Trash & Recycling: Curbside pickup is weekly on Thursdays. Place bins at the curb by 7:00 AM. Recycling is single-stream.
Snow Removal: The city plows main roads. Homeowners are responsible for their own driveways and sidewalks.
Parking: Overnight street parking is restricted per Farmington Hills city ordinance. Please use your driveway and garage.
Pets: All pets must be leashed when outside your property. Please clean up after your pets.

The City of Farmington Hills will be resurfacing several roads in our area this spring. Watch for detour signs and plan extra commute time during April.
As spring arrives, please review the landscaping guidelines. All homeowners are encouraged to complete spring yard cleanup by April 15. The HOA will schedule a common area landscaping service in late April.
